How to Customize Your Home Screen
Home's tiles are shortcuts, not a fixed menu. Pick the ones you actually use, put the busiest one first, and Home opens exactly where you need it.
Who it's for: anyone who wants fewer taps to reach the screen they open every day. Plan: every plan. Time: under 2 minutes.
Step-by-step
Step 1: Open the editor
On the Home screen, tap Edit Widgets — or tap the Customize tile, which opens the same editor.
Step 2: Pick your tiles
Every screen you can put on Home is listed, with the ones already showing ticked. Feed every day? Tick Feed Store. Breed your animals? Tick Breeding too. Ticked tiles move up with the others; keep between 2 and 14 on Home at once.
Step 3: Put them in order
The one you open most should come first. Hold a ticked tile, then drag it up. Let go at the top — it's saved as you go, with no separate save button to tap.
Step 4: Use your Home
Back on Home, your tiles are in your order — one tap and you're there. Prefer numbers to tiles? Tap Dashboard instead; Home remembers the view you chose for next time.
Common mistakes
- Leaving Home at the default order. The default suits a new farm, not necessarily yours — revisit it once you know what you open daily.
- Ticking everything. More than a handful of tiles turns Home into another list to scan. Keep it to what you actually use often.
- Not knowing about the dashboard. If you'd rather see numbers than shortcuts, switching Home to the dashboard is one tap away — see our farm at a glance lesson.
Frequently asked questions
How many tiles can I have on Home?
Between 2 and 14. Tick the ones you want in the widget editor; ticked tiles move to the top of the list with the others already there.
Do my changes save automatically?
Yes. Ticking a tile or dragging it into a new position saves as you go — there is no separate save button to remember.
What's the difference between Home's tiles and the dashboard?
Tiles are shortcuts to the screens you use most, arranged in your own order. The dashboard replaces them with your farm's numbers instead. Switch between them from Home, and it remembers the one you chose.
Can I remove a tile without deleting anything?
Yes. Untick it in the editor. The screen itself and everything on it are unaffected; it just stops showing as a shortcut on Home.
